Stocker, NT made one comment about knocking the cover off of the ball. All year NT was giving guidance of 10 billion. Why Roth chose to express an extreme number is a mystery to me given his previous conservatism. Growth in optical networking products was phenomenal YoY and is being guided at better than 20% growth next year. tp

Pat, NT also promised $10 billion in revenues and they underdelivered."
Stocker, or should call you "S.Moritz?, NT promised to deliver 10B+ in optics in 2000( in July), and it will be delivered.
It was bunch of "Cramers" who were pushing numbers on its own
and then stared to call NT missed. NT missed.
They Q3 was within guidance.

NT also promised $10 billion in revenues and they underdelivered. Not that they meant to miss either but I believe they were caught off guard. It's no given these co's will meet current expectations either.

After being punished to within an inch of their life, do you really think Roth is going to miss?
