You're on point,something is wrong.When I do my weekly Sat.morning maintenance I disable Virtual memory,reboot, then kill everything with EnditAll and defrag.I've never had a stoppage on the defrag program and it takes about 15 minutes tops.

Has Skeeter checked to see if a screensaver or virus program is trying to activate or an open mail program trying to download incoming mail from the server?

mr mark, i'm a-ok. however, i'm amazed defrag is so difficult on my win 95. seems like it s/b a simple process.
