Hi Jorjie, I'm sure X can hold her own on this one, but let me ask you, are you of the opinion that Hillary's an ugly butch dyke? I don't think so. You disagree with her politics and style perhaps. We were talking about people who attack powerful women with ugly epithets rather than disagreeing with their actual viewpoints in a respectful manner.

You are absolutely right. It was way too broad and general. I don't like Hillary either, and it has nothing to do with her brains-- or her looks. I was reacting to some unexamined leftover irritation from the Bush thread during the election when SOME conservative men were making some very rude comments about Reno, Hillary, and others based on looks and alleged sexual preferences rather than issues. I'm sure you would never judge a woman by these standards, but by her capabilities. I NEVER take the gloves off, incidentally. And I wear a hat. (Just like the queen -and Bella Abzug). I am always polite and proper. So I am leaving quickly!!!
