wintel has an ECOSYSTEM. suncom doesn't. the ECOSYSTEM is always in motion and gets bigger and nastier over time. sometimes there are signposts that this is happening, even ones U guys are able to see. but apparently not. the ecosystem will have its foot on suncoms throat. it's not a question of if, it is a question of when. i like broadcom being a part of the ecosystem better than i like serverworks. i like SPECIALISTS against GENERALISTS in my universe, my ecosystem. there's no monopoly of engineers at suncom. my money is on the ecosystem.

Do u have the slitest inkling of anything in this industy? And who is a manufacturer for example of one of those garden variety Taiwanese chipsets in a Dell machine?
