wintel has an ECOSYSTEM. suncom doesn't. the ECOSYSTEM is always in motion and gets bigger and nastier over time. sometimes there are signposts that this is happening, even ones U guys are able to see. but apparently not. the ecosystem will have its foot on suncoms throat. it's not a question of if, it is a question of when. i like broadcom being a part of the ecosystem better than i like serverworks. i like SPECIALISTS against GENERALISTS in my universe, my ecosystem. there's no monopoly of engineers at suncom. my money is on the ecosystem.

"the garden variety taiwanese chipsets that you find in a Dell desktop" Do u have the slitest inkling of anything in this industy? And who is a manufacturer for example of one of those garden variety Taiwanese chipsets in a Dell machine?
