Rambi, as expected came back with a well reasoned response.

Tell me, why would it be even slightly interesting what Hillary's sexual proclivities are, unless one is interested in having sex with her? I've never understood that particular fascination (and I'm not accusing you of having it).

I don't doubt for a second that many men are threatened by strong women, however, I don't think that this is what drives a statement about Hillary's gender preference. Certainly there is a cultural bias against men or women who cross the gender boundaries. And I don't think that it is so much homosexuality, but more specifically when a man who takes on female appearance and/or behavior and a woman who takes on male appearance and/or behavior (or more accurately, behavior traditionally attributed to the opposite gender). Since there is a cultural bias against this behavior, making the accusation is similar to what is done in times of war...dehumanize the enemy, but perhaps in a lesser degree. Maybe we can call it "minimizing the enemby" in the case of our recent political situations. It is behavior that I see as very common from both the left and the right.

I'll take the gloves off, but I am going to leave the lights on...I think that I might find a use for this thread.<g>
