Things getting jumpy here, vis a vis the slowness of the rest of the day after the open. Been watching some of the higer priced smelly components, like LLTC, since that rummy thing is price-weighted. Finally getting a little movement there. Zzzzzzzzz......

I concur with what one officially must say. Officially, then, just let me say, everything is okay!! I told a neighbor of mine last year at least 4 times he should sell any rally on his (at that time) 80K worth of QQQ's. If memory serves, he had at least six chances to break even or better. Time number five I asked him if he had done anything about selling them. His response was, "I'm an optimist." The guy also lost his job as a chemist and started working in a car dealership after suffering a month long depression. Around the first of december I started asking him how car sales were going and stuff like how long has the longest employed salesman been at his dealership (5 years btw)... all in an effort to get him to take a look at the idea that his job was soon going to be worth absolutely nothing quite soon. He didn't get my drift. His wife is six months pregnant and works as an engineer for a major world wide firm and of course is the central bread winner. Everything they have essentially has a payment connected to it. Now I use the official line with everyone except here and in neutral places or when wearing body armour. Believe me, everything is just fine now!
