Mark:

I understand what you are saying and this may be what happened when I tried with a new ISP (SNET) while I had AOL. Although I did remeove AOL and could still not access with SNET.

The original problem and my 3 days with AT&T trying to resolve the issue were before I ever installed AOL. So it couldn't have been the original cause.

I do know if I'm to try SNET again I have to remove AOL b/4 installation.

Tim

are you familiar with the problems associated with aol6.0 to which i refer?

No so I'm not sure how its corupting the system now. The problem when I try to duplicate from my home computer (no aol) is I'm not hooked to a network.

Thanks

Tim
