Let's spice up this thread again.

Great recipes worth sharing

I'm typing up some of my favorite recipes to email to a friend, so I'll stretch my value by also posting them here. I'm fairly new to cooking, I haven't been exploring the kitchen and grocery stores for very many years. As a result, I tend to not stray too far from the basics, nothing too exotic or complicated. I'll share some of my "secret weapons" here.

My best dishes are fairly simple to prepare, with decent results - ones that seem to be "more than the sum of their ingredients". One that comes to mind in particular was a broccoli frittata recipe that was printed on a Campbell's broccoli-cheese soup can label (add potatoes, eggs, and Parmesan cheese).

PS: Since I am replying to a message which was originally discussed a medical benefit of curry. A few weeks ago I took a date to the best Thai restaurant in town. I had been there once before, at which time I was able to sample many of the various dishes. A whole spectrum of delicious curries!
