That is the only explanation available for free.

Ground Zero is the resident master of the pitchfork.
He taught me his method some years back.

If you run a search on the net you'll find several individuals who for a fee are teaching the method over the Internet. They use the forks somewhat differently then I do, but they are useful. Pick the least expensive.

It's not a highly used method, but very easy to learn and somewhat difficult to apply as a trading tool.

Also the December 2000 issue of Stocks and Commodities has an article on the pitchfork. But again it is not the way I use it.

There was a very good discussion on the Systems thread back in 1998. If you look over GZ's posts, he covers just about anything you would like to know about forks. Perhaps the new search feature on SI would help. Here is one of the links.
