There is another factor I believe, one that is impossible to figure out.

That factor is whether or not those options are in the hands of "retail Joe" or the institutions.
Institutions may attempt to drive the price one way or another. If the Institutional leverage is on one side or the other, max pain will fall on that side.

If "Joe public" has the calls and institutions the puts or vice versa look out.

Is this correct?

EMC will flash a SELL signal if it closes under 59. Next stop will be 45-50. Agree??
BTW: What are your thoughts wrt MSFT. It seems to be acting well.
