What to look for when looking for stocks that have broken the downtrend. stockcharts.com[W,A]DBOLNIMY[DC][PB25!B50!B100!B200!A33!F][VC60][IUC20!LB14!LF!LG!UA12,26,9!LJ[$SPX]] Notice how the stock has moved past the downtrend now and is making higher lows (connect the 20's), the horizontal line is the line of resistance. Also take note that the 24 day line has pasted though the 50 day line, that is an indicator that the trend has changed. When I look at stock like ORCL, I say to myself the weak holders have sold, and buyers now strong hands and are looking to buy on weakness. Greg

Greg, does anything have any meaning? The action yesterday and today in QCOM is certainly puzzling to me. All I know is I am basically on the sidelines with puts on financials. Although I just now established a position trying to take "advantage" if that is the correct word on the Max Pain discrepancy in AMCC. If howling at the moon tonight gives you the answers to the universe, please share them with us first thing tomorrow morning. LOL M
