Scootie ...

one thing I didn't mention in my post to Opus, but that you know we differ on is
I don't set a goal as to total points OR trades per day...
but
I do try to take my losses verrrrrrrrry quickly... as in sometimes even a quarter point, but mostly a halver ..

over an extended period of time, I've found that as long as I can maintain above 80%
breakeven
OR
profitable
trades, the numbers will carry me.....

sometimes I have three, four, five straight losers, and am able to put that from my mind because I know that by trading several hundred times, that 80% will make money for me .....
and limiting my trades to 4 or 5 has kept me from realizing larger profits in the long run ....

again, this is NOT preaching to you, as nothing I said here is news to you, but to clarify my earlier post ....

besides .... IF I were to purposefully HOLD ON to a THREEPOINTLOSER ...... I'd not have any boxes or screens as I'd have taken them with me when I JUMPED ....... hehehehe

when I get rid of my long term holds ... and it won't be long I think ..... I really really really won't care which way the market moves ...... just let me grab a teeny bite of a 4 point move and let me do it about 50 times per day ..... LOL
