JIM:

STEI: Although I don't like their line of business (too morbid),they have had a nice movement since Jan.4 as can be appreciated on the 60 minutes chart.Today the shares closed above the Dec and Nov. Hs and seem ready to test the Sept. double top at the 3 5/8 level.

If it can close above last year's Jan H at 6 3/16 it would be breaking the long down-trend coming from the Apr.99 H at 20 3/4. The Apr.98 H was 29.

The shares are selling at 0.22 of the reported book and the price/sales is 0.33 with a P/E of 3.6

Although as I said, I don't like their line of business, I am tempted to buy some when I look at their stock chart. And after all they say that you can't scape death & taxes.

What do you think?

Regards and good luck.

Bernard

Another one that looks good for "bottom fishing":

CXW: It gave a buy signal on Jan.3 on the 60 minutes chart.Still no confirmation on the daily chart, but it has had a nice % move since last week.

IMAN:

Another interesting chart. It seems it has to close above the 5 1/8 level on the 60 minutes chart in order to test the down-gap on Oct.5-6 (from the 6 3/4 level down to 4 1/2)

NOVA: Consolidating the recent gains?

SALD:

It has had a nice move since it gave a buy signal on the 60 minutes chart on Jan.2.It is now testing the double top from the Oct.4&5 Hs at 2 7/8. Would it be able to test the Sept.H at 3 3/4? The March H last year was 6 7/8

It has a more appetizing line of business than STEI:
Fresh Choice and Zoopa restaurants feature an extensive selection of healthy, high-quality, freshly-made specialty and traditional salads, hot pasta, pizza, hot baked potatoes, soups, fresh breads and muffins, frozen yogurt and other desserts, offered in a limited-service format.
