Well, I assume the newspapers will pick a bunch of Gore supporters and Klayman will pick a bunch of Bush supporters. :-)

Not that it matters.

The Miami Herald is reporting that they are using accounting firms to do the counting. The election officials hold up the ballots for the auditors to look at and the auditors decide which category they go in - they are counting both the "undercounts" (no votes for President) and the "overcounts" (two or more votes for President). Two different sets of accountants are going to be working for two different consortiums.

The ballots will be categorized as to whether they have a pregnant chad, a hanging chad, or what.

I, for one, am interested in seeing the result of the final tally. I'm relieved that they will be looking at ALL 67 Florida counties, not just the ones Gore cherry-picked.

Of course I am hoping that Bush will still have more votes after it's done, but even if he doesn't he's still the winner of the legally cast votes. A pregnant chad is "close but no cigar" as far as I am concerned. As the saying goes, "close only counts in hand grenades and horseshoes."
