Diversity .... It's merely a fact of American life.

Perhaps the correct term is Independant diversity or something. Any society where one culture dominates and others lead a satellite existence cannot be called diverse in my vocabulary. It's more an aristocracy than a culture. It is also stagnant or dying. The cultural changes of the baby boom, the civil rights, and the new immigrations saved America from a new dark age. Any attempt to revert back to one dominate culture with a variety of subordinate minority attractions will not work, but may well cost America the superpower status is enjoys with the conflict and lack of progress that could result.

You are both wrong. My wife tried to set up an international/multicultural event at the local High School. She approached the "Diversity" club. ooops, it doesn't mean that any more.
