To me it is ridiculous that in the SI valley they are buying generators without looking into solar panels as another source of energy ie recharging batteries

Hi Darleen,

The problem with solar is that the capital costs are still way too high for this to be a viable economic alternative.
As far as running all those silly little gas generators, well, the air pollution wouldn't be any worse than with the diesel units is about the best one can say. They are great on remote sites, and I've used 'em, but never ever in a situation where I could tie into the grid. :)

somewhere in this mess is a very truth filled positive action of what can be done for the future to limit any negative affects on humanity.
I non-concur, the attitude is.... humanity be damned. It's just a well-designed, well orchestrated "mess" to rid certain managers/stockholders of social responsibilities and at the same time boost entrepreneurial profit to nosebleed levels for the elite and the exclusive.
