I don't wish anybody any harm, but it is irritating that California's selfishness is going to hurt a lot of innocent people all over the country.

marginmike, those activists that you speak about who have had the real clout to stop plant sitings include suburban corporate NIMBY's with 2 suv's, the power producers who lobbied to shut down new plant auctions in the early 90s when we had a 30% power surplus, and even that good republican John Chambers of Cisco, which wants to stop a new plant being built next to its new San Jose office, lol !

The ones you may be thinking of won't get hurt - they're already off the grid and living up in a tree somewhere.
