No - you were making a point that art by the government angers people and increases vitriol- I was responding to that point, and I think art actually lessons vitriol, so I do not think your point is valid. Was that NOT your point? I think the art paid for by the government is beneficial for many reasons- including providing an almost ritual combat for liberals and conservatives.
