John, many months ago GE had around 1.6 billion surpluses and I bet you they were out in August from the tech wreck.

Being short GE is one of my favorite long term plays

Been short it since December at 54. What financial company or cyclical trades at over 2X growth rate? And you are right about moving gains over from pension fund assets to cover earnings calls. My target is 1998's high of 34, Plus the new CEO move is a good bet on downward momentum--not that he is not qualified for operations----but the premium on the stock is on Jack Welch.
