It was a joke about crisco not Ashcroft. I find something disturbing about his linking his successes and failures to resurrections and crusifixtions. But that's another issue.

As far as I know, I've never been unkind to you, or to anyone you know. Just argured with them.

I suggest that if my joke, that to you is in bad taste and reflects something about the person you find upsetting leads you to such belief in me, that you no longer post to me. Including any reply to this post.

Jeez, Ms. Blue, I guess I should have read back farther on this thread. Ashcroft appears to have written a book documenting the "crisco slur". It's sort of in the public record. That and the implicit comparison of himself to David and Saul and Jesus Christ himself. No matter how sincere his beliefs are, perhaps maybe he shouldn't quite wear it on his sleeve quite so much?
