Do you think I have a chance of getting any response? Im simply stunned that they can bust a trade that was made 2 weeks ago...

I was closing the account- handnt used it in 6 months so I decided to put in a huge daytrade, win/loss- set the stop, it worked out and I sold. Now when I go to close the account I see the trade subtracted from my balance and that was the response I received- that the clearing house said I wasnt approved to make the trade of that size (over by a few bucks) and they busted it...

Reminds me alot of the ADSP disaster where DLJ was closing peoples shorts even if people had the funds to cover the trades...

Guess its always good to be reminded that this is a sleazy sleazy business, and there are very few people in this business that arnt criminal in a wonderfully legal way if that makes any sense..
