Bob....the 'Idea' of a missile defense is reassuring....
I grew up in Chicago in the 50's and remember seeing Nike missiles along the Lake front.........those old Nikes are rust somewhere...........worth every penny...?
All reports I have seen from Scientists ...who do not have a vested interest indicate
Its an Idea whose time will Never Come...
Lets change the target.......
Im sure Maurice will agree that incoming from Deep Space is a more realistic target...
Heck...

So, we have had no progress since 1941 ??

No easy travel between countries, no internet, no telephones, no UN ???

A missile defense is not a threat against any country.

And what is the difference between missiles for defense and offense?? Both can be fired, if needed, at will for offense.
