ROFL I remember my childhood in a working class neighborhood. The children were unimaginably cruel to each other. The food sucked- nothing like the variety available today. And the parents all beat their kids. You bet the kids lived in fear- of their parents. I saw a child whipped with a belt in the street. I'm glad those days are gone. I didn't take your post out of context. You were waxing nostalgic- and I wanted to assure equal representation for the NON-nostalgic. This IS the LWP boxing thread. If you want to post something stupid and not be called on it- may I suggest the Right Wing Extremist Thread? They probably won't have any problems with your post- they probably wish you could still belt your kids.

Hi Steve, I think that was my favorite post of the day, and believe me, there've been some wild ones posted here in the last 24 hours. If pressed, I'd say my most favorite line was: love the way you liberal commie pinkos twist everything around to suit your agenda. I haven't heard that epithet since the 60's. Thank you for the walk down memory lane. Seriously, though, it sounds as though you have a loved one who is confined to a wheelchair. You are obviously justifiably upset at the current state of medical care in the US, as well as the situation of wheelchair access, and I've got to say that it's upsetting to me too.
