Since you were raised Catholic, I am surprised that you consider anointment with holy oil to be nutty I assure you that I consider Catholicism both superstition and (moderately) nutty. I will admit, however, to a certain nostalgia for incense, palm fronds, and organ music. These traditional rituals do have their charms. I spent a couple of weeks last month at a spa and had my first massage and facial. They were most agreeable and the oil was a big contributor to the experience. Ashes on my forehead I don't miss a bit. Karen
