Some Network processor data.

ezchip.com
According to Dataquest roughly $100 million worth of NP's shipped in 1999. It expects revenues to grow at a CAGR of 72.4%.

Zero to Hero: The Emerging Network Processor Market
instat.com
"In 1999, the units shipped were only 422k for total revenue of $128 million. By 2004, the Network Processor will ship over 18 million units for $2.9 billion at a CAGR of 81% and 63%, respectively."

The CAGR numbers of the Instat report do not match with the projected unit and revenue numbers. However there is some good base data i.e. 422K units shipped with $128 million revenues in 1999.
