Hi Bob; I believe that the pattern of each market movement is distinct enough that there is no "perfect" use of AIM or scaling that will always be the best (buying weekly versus monthly or any other variation)......it is the basic concept that is always right, imo, buying at lower prices and selling at higher is a solid concept...the risk control built into the AIM algorithm gives it a preference for my use.

Many of us have probably tried short term trading, based on whatever indicators.......being accustomed to instant foods, microwave cooking, DSL (I am still on phone lines)...it may be hard to just sit back and let the market cycle happen..(6 months to years or more) so that AIM or scaling can work well.......I am mellowed to just let the cycle work, and respond appropriately as AIM directs...
