Richard Palm - What puzzles me even more is many of his detractors who knock his integrity by asserting he must be a "snake oil salesman" because from the detractor's viewpoint, "marketiming" is a scam and can't be done based on well known books and research they prefer.

Sure he's made some bum stock picks in the past, but he's also made some great stock picks. Sure some of his market calls have not gone the way he initially forecast they would, but many of us have all profited handsomely by many of his successful calls. Sure he's got a big ego, but what does that have to do with investment advise and learning how to successfully manage one's investments. Sure for show biz purposes on his program he has poked fun at some other guru's in the past, but I'd bet you that never happens again given the reaction some have had. Sure he doesn't like to see his hard work ripped of and resold, but would you feel any different in his shoes?

FACE IT, he's got clay feet - he's got warts; but I've seen nothing to support the assertion that he lacks integrity and is not trying his best to get it right for subscribers. I don't think he deserves the abuse some take glee in dishing out and in his shoes, I doubt if the disher-outers would either.

Equally puzzling is why some BB critics hardly ever acknowledge his strong points

Come on Richard, you do hear even his most vehement critics acknowledge when he's been right. The problem is that he hasn't been right all that often. His calls are vague they are not posted for all to see (see what happened with ONTK) and people forget exactly what they were.

Most of his critics were or are his customers so we all believed he was correct at some time. However, seeing the actual dates and numbers posted here and elsewhere, he is less accurate and more fallible than I thought.

"Equally puzzling is why some BB critics hardly ever acknowledge his strong points"

Bob gets and readily accepts gratitude for his winners, it is his denial of losing that rubs many the wrong way.

Richard Palm,

Re: Equally puzzling is why some BB critics hardly ever acknowledge his strong points. There seems to be a tendency to divide into two camps: those who believe he is never right, and those who believe he is never wrong. I have yet to see convincing evidence for either extreme.

Surely you are not suggesting that I fall into that camp, are you? Need I start yet another list to show you how many times I have acknowledged his strong points.

Then again, I obliged with your request for a similar list earlier and you just came back with propaganda (to be addressed later).

Best Regards.
