It looks like his president's depleted uranium shells are making friend and foe sick. It smacks of hypocrisy to launch tactical nuclear weapons while pushing for the end to strategic missile stockpiles.

Yes Rumsfeld is a "stiff". The concept of ballistic missile defense against any of your so called enemies is absurd. N. Korea, Iran and Irag have no intention of launching a ballistic missile against the US and besides have no capability to do so. Besides before we can deploy a system that has a 30% chance of a successful interception will take 10 years. The threats as you proclaim may all be gone by then. And MOST IMPORTANTLY, no country is DUMB ENOUGH, to get annihilated by the US by launching a ballistic missile. They will use chemical or biological, or a nuclear suitcase or a nuclear tipped cruise missile if they attack, to keep it covert. And our great shield will be useless against these types of attack. Sounds like we want to invent the Maginot Line to keep the welfare roles of the Military Industrial Complex intact while pissing off the rest of the world! Including our allies. Sheer stupidity none ever greater!
