<... like for instance what is this about digital gold you're involved with? ... >

Marcos, with my partner, I started an exchange broker service for gold currencies. We will be promoting a monthly accumulation program that will allow an investor to accumulate them at competitive exchange rates to gold bullion.

In our opinion, gold curencies will become the best way to buy and own physical gold. Not only they provide 100% exposure to gold but also allow their owners to buy stuff and pay bills from their gold currency accounts. In the brick and mortar economy, gold currency owners will be able to use a Standard Gold debit card and obtain local currencies at will.

More on this very soon.

Company has three divisions;
1. CIBT - cag-global.com - an established profitable and growing education business in China, three schools in Beijing and now offering courses over the net, partnered with City University of Renton, Wash. and serving an impressive list of multinational clients.

2. Irix - cag-global.com - a design/PR firm 50% owned, recently acquired but has been working with cpt before the acquisition ... also profitable.

3. SEGlobal - cag-global.com - the sexy division imho
seglobal.com - a network of brokerage firms, but not a broker, thereby sidestepping the regulatory hassles encountered by brokers attempting to get reps placed overseas ... they've already signed up an impressive list of broker alliances in many countries on several continents, to whom they have opened up access planet-wide using the net ... those two things make up what i call The Brilliance of the Plan - 1. regulatory stuff done already by broker allies, and 2. those allies motivated to make it work in all respects.

Development of the SEG site has been underwhelming, no question that execution there could have been better and faster ... however some improvements such as increased access to information have been promised for around this time, and there exist rumours of a possible US direct access deal that has been experimented with successfully ... other development as well, the whole thing is in flux and i remain cautiously hopeful.

The original plan as outlined in the first few posts of the SI thread was to float 49% of SEG on the Hong Kong GEM exchange, however that place has not made itself the best of reputations for the way it treats its companies, and the new Plan B is to float SEG on the US otc-bb using a vehicle called Future Technologies, ftut on the otc-bb, a letter of intent has been signed subject to conditions which are being dealt with now.

CIBT will also be floated on the otc-bb using a vehicle called VAC something ... following the SEG float, i believe, the timeframe for neither being nailed down as of this date.

Well that's a brief overview ... i hold a whack of this thing, been in for almost a year and just keep adding, so all my comments regarding it should be viewed in light of that fact ... but i like it, a fair value for CIBT is above the current share price imho, and if they can execute well with SEG, then hooo-hah, it's to the moon Alice.

Qbx.v url package and brief - cubixinvestments.com

... the latter being the only active thread currently

Cubix is a holding company with three classes of assets - 1. cash, 2. oil&gas, 3. dotbomb paper

1. cash and other liquid assets as of 31 Dec, according to the Form 61 - sedar.com
... 14.85mUS .. <--- qbx reports in US dollars ... so that's 22.27m in real money -g-
... around 6mCdn of this has since 31 Dec been invested in uph.v and a private company called chalk.com

2. o&g assets - oops, Form 61 doesn't split up the real from the dot.bomb, just says -
'Investments 17.4mUS
Properties plants and equipment 5.5mUS' .. <-- the latter being a gas gathering system which produced 516kUS in revenue last year

The individual investments - well it's a long story and in flux continually [for one thing i don't know if they've sold their last shares of pn.amex yet] ... pin on stockhouse is more up on the specifics - stockhouse.ca
... one of the investments is 2m shares of the company's own stock, which has not been returned to treasury for cancellation, they plan to trade it, apparently.

Let's just take the above numbers, cash and near-cash 14.85m, investments 17.4m, plant 5.5m, adds up to 37.75US, or roughly 57mCdn ..... now the company has 36.9m issued, and a market cap of 19.5mCdn according to the cdnx site - cdnx.ca
... assets are roughly three times the market cap .... why? - because Canaccord hasn't moved the stock up yet ... but yesterday may have been the start of the first leg ... from trading this one last year i know the house to watch is CC, you can't rush 'em and they won't wait for you if you're late ... and you can't predict with any certainty what they'll do next.

Unexplained events -
1. the company is now registered in Bermuda, got a continuance from BC
2. the old president, Hislop, stepped down, but remains as a director
3. the new guy, Price, resides in London ... the UK London

Almost like they're getting ready for something.
