Blow Hard Lewinsky - Re: "What proof do you have that Intel is losing ANY market share?
The threads will be revisiting this issue Wednesday evening, after the two conference calls are over. My argument is that for this quarter the addition of integrated chipsets will put AMD in a much better competitive position. So listen for guidance from both companies on unit growth. I've been wrong before, and so have you. I've posted my reasoning, why don't you post why you think Intel will be gaining market share this quarter? Then we'll see what the companies say."

Thanks for verifying what we already knew - you are a BLOW HARD WITH NO PROOF WHATSOEVER.

Paul

Dan, <My argument is that for this quarter the addition of integrated chipsets will put AMD in a much better competitive position.>

You know what's funny, Dan? I for one was all for integrated chipsets like the 810 all last year. Most of you AMDroids ridiculed the 810, criticized its 3-D performance, and thought its existence meant absolutely squat in the value PC market.

Then AMD uses their lack of integrated chipsets as an excuse for low Duron ASP's. Now all you AMDroids think integrated chipsets are the greatest things since sliced bread. Imagine that!

Dan-

The use of the language "continue to lose market share" seems to most people to mean that the referenced company is currently losing market share, otherwise they could not "continue" to do so.
