What was that

Ah, I see you're an afficionado of the Hip-Hop genre. <gg>

Hi DH,
It's good to see you here. Pull up a stool.

They didn't make it because of the half time show

LOL!

I have an mental image of what the typical arm chair quarterback looks like.
I'm not sure many of them were tapping their toes...

Seems like it's the networks' method of attracting a younger audience.
It's my opinion that they try too hard.
It's like how they hired Dennis Miller for Monday Night Football. I enjoy DM as a comedian much more than I do a funny football analyst. Again, it's the network's attempt to get more eyes to watch the game.
If you ask me, the game does just fine by itself.
It is perfection. Adding to it only diminished it.
I became a fan because I simply love the game. I grew up watching it and can remember certain games like it was yesterday.
The actions of characters on the field spoke for themselves.
Mean Joe Green was one of the meanest dudes on the field.
Hacksaw Reynolds actually cut a car in half with a hacksaw.
Lyle Alzado was a beast of a man.
Lawrence Taylor was unstoppable.
I wish I could have seen Dick Butkus play. Or Jim Brown.
How about Terry Bradshaw to Lynn Swann for acrobatic catch 45 yards down field. Or Franco Harris' Immaculate Reception.
Or the Ice Bowl.
Broadway Joe Namath's guarantee to win the Super Bowl (much to Lurqer's dismay)<g>.
Joe Montana's "Two Minute Offense" down 6 points and you knew he was going to win it somehow.

Anyone have a few favorite players?

When will the networks ever understand that these are the things that sell football and create fans...
