Sometimes it is classiest to say nothing. In the case of Edwarda, who had many fans at SI, holding back the vitriol would have been the preferred approach.

I love my Dad but truly he can be a jerk. He'll even say so himself. It may be genetic. Only a hypocrite wouldn't know that this gene is dominant in humanity and that most people express it to some extent, but most don't have the gene that allows them admit it.


I'd say that's a useful way to look at it.
