*My thoughts: I think there are forces that want to drive this growth speculation market Nasdaq one more time to about 3100 amid all bad news and negative outlook for year 2001. Low GDP and possibly inflation ignited by higher energy costs. Banking system is questionable with loans defaulting from CLECs, B2Bs, and dotcoms. This speculation game is once again driven by AG in cutting loose the rates.

So what am I going to do? I ain't gonna fight the crowd madness feeding by analysts saying this is the bottom and it can't get any better than this for jumping back into the speculation game. I'm going to cover all my shorts, hold no longs, and daytrading these sectors: telecoms and networkers.

For telecoms I'm looking at WCOM MCLD XOXO NXTV FDRY.

For Networkers I'm looking at SCMR RBAK CIEN BRCD JNPR.

This week they might want to take it down but after that they're going to run and gun. That's how I feel for today.

Good luck.
