The press and some brokerages have not been too kind to Sun Microsystems. Let's face it, they have not warned about the December quarter nor have they given any guidance downward for the future except to acknowledge that they will experience the same macro-economic problems that all companies are facing.

Also, they have said that they will be hiring another 10,000 employees in 2001. Also they have a very robust new product cycle with the introduction of the USIII chip which is expected to be shipping in volume this year.

I also see the acceptance of the end-to-end solutions that Sun Microsystems has devised with their advanced software solutions.

More and more companies are trusting SUNW with their enterprise solutions.

I agree with you that there will be a new high water mark for SUNW this year.
