Making a difference somehow and in some way, for the earned money paid for accomplishment. The money simply pays the bills. The tangible (in my case) proof of the 'worth' of my work translates into increased sales for the company. Which means employed employees, raises, etc for them ... plus the enhancement of their value to their company. It's nice to see. I like putting my talents, education and knowledge in my field (advertising, PR writing and consulting) to work. Makes all the sweat and blood gaining the degrees and job experience (and sometimes sexual discrimination via salary and harassment on a couple of occasions with two managerial peers of mine on the job) worthwhile.
