AVNT--found this message on AVNT board a poster is asking questions---as nobody knows why stock is running up??? <Can anyone give an update on Cadence litigation status? Will the upcoming criminal trial date motivate a settlement? Is the recent action in the stock related to any of this? Thanks in advance...> regards not buying your stocks James,I ONLY buy stocks that I myself have fully had the time to research, just a hard rule of mine,no exceptions:) max p.s. so we know at least the litigation is not over, but good news MAY becoming. But what is reference to criminal trial???

Just wondering about AVNT; have they settled in any way with CDN or is that still going on?

Because if they haven't, I'm rather puzzled by their recent price action - AVNT was the Philip Morris of the tech industry.. huge earnings, but lawsuits dragging its stock price down. :)

EDIT (2 minutes later): I feel rather stupid asking the same questions asked to you previously, but I'll just keep the message here 'for the record'.
