Is someone using a PIII 6 times more productive then when they had a Pentium Pro?

I can do more on a P pro than most can do on a PIII. It doesn't get away from the fact that I'm a lot faster on a faster computer.....why? I work in computer graphics sometimes with 150 mb files, I can do digital delivery of my files because I have a high speed connection. I can print to six printers from one machine at once with no performance hit. You have no idea how much faster computers and faster connections made in my industry. I know because I struggled along trying to do what I do before we had them.

Doesn't anyone here appreciate that you can have an almost realtime conversation about computers and productivity with a bunch of idiots you've never seen from all over the world?

Here is one for you Allan.....ask an old timer, someone that was on Wall Street 30 years ago, what they did for charts back then.....where did they get their realtime charts? hahahahaha You were lucky to have a service that gave you charts that were a week old and then you paid THOUSANDS for the service.

Got slide rule TA!
