Zicam is a fraudulent homeopathic placebo. Zicam has been touted as a "cure" for the common cold on numerous message boards. Material inside information about the company has has been frequently leaked and then distributed on message boards (e.g. "imminent" publication of clinical trial results in a medical journal). The company has also restorted to issuing press releases such as this:

biz.yahoo.com

It is my beleif that this press release was issued specifically to generate specualtion about what exactly GUMM's "relationship" is with CSFB.

Danny, why don't you get yourself a life? Don't you EVER get tired of touting this garbage? Many stock touts have come and gone on this board, yet none have been so obnoxious, so boring, and so consistently WRONG as you! It is astounding how much effort you place here, on Yahoo and God knows where else to continuously spew nonsense about this stock. It is incredible how you ALWAYS show up within minutes of a negative opinion about the GUMM stock fraud ANYWHERE in cyberspace!!! For Christ's sake Danny - I'm really beginning to wonder if you have some issues that need psychiatric care...and I'm dead serious about that.

Your threats to sue for libel are beyond ludricous. They are pathetic. First of all, you would be hard-pressed to make a libel case over a squabble on a public message board about stocks (any respectable attorney would laugh you out of his office), second of all, even if it WAS possible, I would crush you like a bug before we ever got out of discovery...if only in my ability to outspend you.

Do yourself and your family a favor, take whatever little money you have left and place it into stock and bond funds with good track records.

Point me to a link of a "hype press release".

This one was always my favorite, if only for the spectacular manner in which it backfired (naturally it's not on the GUMM website anymore): Message 11768896

Gee, the editors at the New England Journal of Medecine really must be kicking themselves now for "fumbling" the Zicam story, eh?
