<< OK Barry, so what you are saying is that it is acceptable and wise to "put American troops in harms way" in Bosnia, a "war torn and lawless" land, and keep them there INDEFINATELY, to "maintain peace", but it is wicked and evil to do the same in Somalia, for the much more limited goal of escorting food supplies? >>

Most Americans, except for you and the rest of the dogmatic conservatives, are very proud of our troops bringing peace to the families of both Bosnia and Kosovo. Did you find any value, at all, to our military missions to that part of the world?

Regarding Somalia: You are saying that it is OK for a defeated President to start a new, unexpected, badly planned, and unjustified military mission, a few weeks before a newly elected President comes into office?! It made no sense, and I will always question Poppa Bush's motivations for doing that.

Was it OK for a politician to start that unjustified military mission, as long as it wasn't your blood staining the ground over in Somalia?
