I use several of the 20emas, 1 3 and 5 min. I use Pat's, 8/12/34/55 sma's.

If a move is for real, the beta is usually at a ratio of 2 to 1 on the mini. If a move is a fakeout, then the ratio is a lot less.

Today the mini is up 7.50 and the beta is down 7.70. That is way backwards and suggests the short will be coming soon and be worth quite a few points.

Doesn't always work, but it is a very good indication of things to come. I use it on one minute charts.
