As much as I love AMD and believe it is a $40 stock, It should still cool down some today, and maybe tomorrow. What are your guesses for low of this wave and then the high of the next.

Today close at 20 3/4
Mid next week go to 26

Gottfried, I am feeling sorry for you!

Peter

PS: But we all have made our mistakes. How many thread members did not sell AMD last year when they were in the 40s? How many faced margin calls or saw their options expire worthless? So I believe that you are in good company...

Gottfried, I also sold 350 shares yesterday. Not too many, but that's still $1,400 I missed. However, those shares were at a loss, so I get the write-off, and I turned around and put the money into another stock (SNDK). I'm only up $400 on the trade, but if you bought anything it can more than offset. NAZ futures are up. Tomorrow should be a good day.

Regards,

Dave

ps - to make you feel better, in the last two weeks, I sold:

AMD around $18 (now $22.50)
ARBA around $36 (now $37)
SNDK around $37 (bought back @ $40)
GX around $18 (now $25)
GSPN around $28 (now $38)
IPG around $44 (now $45, yesterday $47)

but I did reinvest the money so it's not all that bad. (and I made money of them all, except AMD!)
