Haim,
If those AH prices hold for the open tomorrow, I think
plenty more shorts will smell the fear. Shoe on the other foot now, I suspect. About time.....
Regards,
Eichler

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: After hours is goofy. So are the futures - not that each market doesn't sometimes give indications, and that, when I have a position on overnight, I don't check them both continually for clues as to the main session or at least the opening. Also, on the VL Geometric, it has its own unique character, and is intended I believe to be reflective of the whole stock market proportionately. I don't pretend to be an expert, or to have followed it very closely, but I believe it could roll over or at least pull back even while the tech cos. you mention went through the roof (and vice versa). I believe something like that was occurring at various times during the Nasdaq bull run. As for further on the candlestick interpretation, I'll give that directly to LG.

Further on Value Line Geometric: Just talked to a man who's been following the Value Line indices for years, and who prefers the Arithmetic, which had a picture perfect breakout yesterday. We speculate that relative weakness in the Geometric, because it's cap-weighted, may have been reflecting the selloff in big oil and financials.
