He's a Rhodes Scholar. That counts a lot in our society and deserves all the regard we should give it.

Do you think Clinton is even glib? He can turn into an Arkansas yokel at the most inappropriate time. At those times he sounds like Goofy.

Solarity, I never said Clinton was intellectually superior. In fact, I think Clinton pulled off one of the great frauds (among many) of the decade, convincing people he was much brighter than average.

I cannot cite any example of his great intellectual capacity, because there are none. Con artists are very good at manipulating others.

We have had great intellectual presidents. Did you know that Richard Nixon was a part of the famous Gifted Children project in the 1920's and 30s? Conducted by Lewis Terman (inventor of an IQ test), Nixon was one of 200 children followed from grade school through high school.

...an intellectually dull president steps in..." Hmmm, it is certainly the conventional wisdom that Clinton is unusually bright, but can anyone cite one lousy example of his great intellectual capacity? So many people seem to equate being glib with being bright. Our rapist-in-chief would seem to be the perfect example that the two characteristics are quite unrelated.

You have to admit that he is creative in his personal exploits. Not particularly selective but the man is creative.
