But, it probably accurately reflects the market from each companies perspective. Intel is just hitting their biggest rough patch in decades, AMD sees nothing but smooth, clear road. Even if Intel hits on both cylinders and they sell as many P4s as there are RIMMs, Tualatin comes online as expected and Microsoft actually manages to complete the software for XBox as planned, they will still be bleeding market share to AMD. That is, unless they can convince the market that the extra performance of the AMD processors causes cancer or impotence and they should Spend More For Less (new slogan) to get Appropriate Performance (another) from Intel.

Tualatin is a big question, why was Almador(sp?) delayed and/or Timna'd? Isn't this chipset required to get more than PIII performance? What a pile of rambus...
