Are there estimates of the ratio of men who are child molesters to those who are not? I guess another way to phrase the question, JLM, is: Do you trust your husband with other kids, or do you think he is a pervert? Presumably, anyone loving their spouse would not want them to be tarred with an unwarranted prejudice that insults their standing in society. I think it is wise to take prophylactic measures for ones children. These measures will not always be based on a (more or less) objective assessment. I would never hurt a bird fallen out of a nest.
