Unfortunately, where biology is the predominant trait of a person (and some people really don't have much of a social conscience)--I think that men are more victim to their own sexual drive. I don't say all men. I think it would be relatively few that cannot adjust to social values. Men and women are biologically different--undoubtedly with good reason. Within many species, the males kill one another for the priviledge of mating. They don't have opposable thumbs...

I don't think it is gender specific. But I think where it regards children, men- if one merely looks at their superior strength- would be more likely to inflict severe injury.
