Here's the exclusive part of last weeks langaplus with the parts he wishes to keep private X'ed out.

For the exclusive early use of LangaList Plus subscribers, the newest and most powerful batch file in the popular hard-drive-cleanup series is now available.

This new batch file extends and refines the functions of the original CleanAll.Bat ( langa.com ). It can aggressively scrub your hard drive clean of many junk files, freeing up (typically) anywhere from tens to thousands of megabytes of otherwise-wasted disk space by: It cleans up all Temp files, compacts your Registry and Cookies Index, completely empties the Temporary Internet File (TIF) area, compacts your Icon Cache (by deletion) and then runs a disk-check utility in order to verify that your hard drive is healthy after the cleanup operation. Plus, it now more-reliably handles circumstances where the Icon cache may not have been cleaned correctly before and also automatically runs either Scandisk or Norton Disk Doctor at the end of the cleanup process to ensure the health of your hard drives!

In addition to a new batch file, I've also posted a new PIF, and two associated Reg patches to add (or delete) the new batch file to (or from) your Recycle Bin menu.

These files are specifically for Windows9x; other versions for Windows ME and Windows 2000 will be released shortly!

More information, instructions, and download links are available from the TEMPORARY home of LangaList Plus! files at "XXXXXXXXXX"

That site has primitive password protection: To access the site, when prompted, please enter the user name "XXXXXXX" and the password "XXXXXXXX"

I'll soon have a much better site and password system (based on your own email address, so it'll be super easy to remember) for Plus subscribers. But in the meanwhile, please do not share or redistribute the URL, the files, or the name/password to the temporary site. The files will be available to other readers in a while, but for now, they're just for the use of Plus! subscribers--- just for you!
