Bull. He probably enters the presidency as the strongest. By next week we will have again an energy policy run by people who know energy and a fiscal policy that has been long lacking.

probably would have lost the Electoral College vote had the Supreme Court not intervened

WRONG again Ken. Not paying attention I see,

Miami Dade recount netted + for Bush. +6 if you count all dimples or + 100 if you count ala Palm Beach. Collier County + 226. Lake was -130 I believe. So that nets ~200 or so.

Add in the previously rejected military votes, which the 4 counties settled on too.

Sure this count is not over, but probably would have lost , that is delusional, and looking dimmer all the time.

Kenneth, I beleive "Eric the Liberal" is a sore ass loser.

Hey, I found the following:

" Clinton leaves office as the weakest president in at least a century. Gore won the popular vote by a considerable margin and probably would have won the Electoral College vote had the Supreme Court not intervened to put a stop to the fraudulent vote-counting schemes in Florida. He had virtually no mandate for his campaign programs, relatively little clout in Congress and his manner of winning has inspired a passionate degree of resentment among African-Americans and others who believe the election to have been stolen."
