Dear Ish: I just wanted to get your opinion of GW's inauguration speech to determine if I am getting too soft. I found it extremely uplifting, to such an extent I actually had tears in my eyes. What did you think?

Also, what did you think of Clintons antics up to and after the inauguration? From my viewpoint the guy has NO CLASS whatsoever. I cannot remember in my years going back to Eisenhower of any ExPresident attempting so hard to stay in the limelight during Inauguration ceremonies of the new President. Some of the news media actually were running split screens, I found it in very bad taste, then come to learn the Clintons packed out $196,000 of furniture supposedly GIFTS but I wonder if the giver was making it personal gifts or gifts to the White House. We will never know of course since Hillary Clinton filed her REQUIRED financial disclosure with Congress at 11:00pm THE NIGHT BEFORE INAUGURATION. Ish, tell me, how many people you know are up at 11:00pm filling out those forms?? Honest to God, these people were a disgrace. Only thing that amazes me is that somehow, someway Clinton does maintain personal popularity. That is something I will never understand. JDN
