Texas Preacher Looking for $30 Million to Drill in Israel

Ness Energy International Inc.'s web site (www.nessenergy.com) says the company was formed "for the purpose of drilling for oil in Israel and Texas to distribute God's supernatural wealth to God's end-time ministries."

It continues, "Israel, Land of the Patriarchs, the land where God inscribed His laws, and brought forth water from a rock is still the land of miracles!"

The Willow Park, Texas-based company trades on the OTC Bulletin Board as NESS, having changed its name in early July from KTKC, which was the trading symbol of Kit Carson Corp. that Ness Energy, founded and run by Harold "Hayseed" Stephens, bought in 1997.

Ness (Hebrew for "miracle") Energy is bringing spiritual meaning to the standard disclaimer "This news release includes forward-looking statements that involve risks and uncertainties."

The name change has already resulted in one miracle--a miracle at least outside the realm of the dot-com stocks. The share-price jumped nearly 25%, from 47 cents each before the July 4th weekend to 57 cents the day of the name-change announcement.

The company has a 100% working interest in the Hesed License at the southwest end of the Dead Sea. Drilling is planned to 20,000 feet, beneath the Har Sedom salt dome, at a cost of about $30 million, which Stephens needs to raise. The first well, Elohim Perazim, is expected to be spud in April 2000, God willing.

Stephens, president of Ness Energy, is also a pastor and founder of Hayseed Stephens Evangelistic Association, which is also based in Willow Park, west of Fort Worth. He says God told him there is oil in the southwest end of the Dead Sea.

Read about Stephens' revelation from God, and his plans for drilling, in the July issue of Oil & Gas Interests newsletter, a sister publication of Oil and Gas Investor or call 1-800-897-HART for subscription information.
